Boatshed Barcelona sells boat of the winner of the Premio Nostromo 2006

Every year, a group of sea enthusiasts, members of the “Asociacion Amigos de Nostromo”, gives a literary prize for stories with a clear relation to the sea.

In 2006, the 10th Premio Nostromo was given to Jordi Illa Boris, for his first novel “Mar de fondo, en la regatta a Baleares”. Since 8 years, Jordi lives on board his sailing boat. He sails since he was 15. After sailing all over the Mediterranean, he dreams of a solo transatlantic crossing. To be able to realise his dream, he wants to buy a boat with different characteristics to the one he has now. In particular, he wants a faster boat.

So, Jordi contacted Boatshed Barcelona to sell his current boat. Shortly before finding the buyer for the boat, he was given the Premio Nostromo. He invited us to a reception to promote both the book and the prize. Premio Nostromo
