Broker's Comments
Boatshed Wales are delighted to present Severn Belle, a Glen L Union Jack trawler-style motor yacht built in 1995 to a robust and durable standard. Constructed from mild steel plating with flat-bar framing, strong hull lines and a flared bow, she promises capable seakeeping. Two bilge runners with 10 mm plate shoes allow her to take to the ground safely, while a solid steel skeg protects the rudder and propeller.
Aboard, the spacious aft deck with low transom provides easy access, with gas or fuel lockers either side of the saloon door and additional aft cockpit storage. Wide side decks, high guardrails and large pilothouse windows ensure safe movement and excellent visibility. Solar panels on the pilothouse and additional coachroof storage add welcome practicality.
Inside, the bright saloon offers generous headroom and superb natural light. An L-shaped settee sits to starboard, with a diesel heater and large dining table to port. The well-equipped galley includes ample stowage, fridge, sink, Nelson oven, twin burners and microwave. The raised helm provides commanding views and easy access to the engine room, housing the 75 hp Beta Marine engine (2013) and 3 kW Ziese generator (2016). Forward, a comfortable V-berth and enclosed heads complete a warm, homely interior ideal for extended cruising or liveaboard use.
A unique vessel offering an exciting opportunity to cruise or liveaboard in comfort and safety. All enquiries and viewing requests are warmly welcomed.
