Boatshed Thames are delighted to list this Ex Police boat from 1960s built by Toughs of Teddington her exact date and No. are not known
She was acquired by the current owner in April 2005. Prior to which she was used as a work boat.
Between May 2006 & June 2007 she underwent extensive restoration including:
New aluminium framed windows
The vessel was fully painted from the keel up.
The wheel house and cockpit have Iroko laid decks.
New Treadmaster was fitted to the fore and side decks.
The Port toe rail had a section replaced.
New teak hand & grabrails.
The cockpit and wheel house hull sides are lined with stained and varnished Cedar strips.
The wheelhouse has a new locker to port and a fridge under the jockey seat forward of the engine box.
The cockpit has a new engine box along with reinstated rear seats.
The laid decks and external wood work are all coated with Coelan.
The vessel was fully rewired.
The engine is a Perkins 6354 date unknown. The copper keel coolers had been removed and the engine cooled by a heat exchanger prior to current ownership.
She has been well maintained under the current ownership.
Serviced and antifouled annually.
