Broker's Comments

One of the most popular Westerly designs, the Fulmar is slightly longer, more streamlined and faster than her predecessors.

Seaworthy, strong and safe, over 400 were built. As a good all-rounder, that is both forgiving and easy to sail, it’s easy to see why so many were used as training vessels.

This example is currently in need of being given some TLC. Being sat in a boatyard, she had accumulated a fair amount of dirt and grime, which is customary with boatyard storage. Nothing however, that a good bit of elbow grease can't put right.

Down below, she also needs a bit of a clean and tidy up. Her headlinings are sagging a bit in places, but again, not a major fix.

She is extremely well-equipped with electronics, including two plotters, AIS and more. Check out the full inventory and details in the listing.

This boat is also equipped with a windvane and wind generator for extended passages, and also offers great assistance for single-handed sailing.

Set up for short-handed sailing with the lines leading aft to a roomy cockpit, she also has the added benefit of a fin keel.

A well-designed and versatile cruiser, at a competitive price, that is equally popular with beginners and seasoned sailors.
