The profile of the buyer for 2012 is 50 years old upwards on the whole. These buyers are not very impulsive and have been willing to wait for good deals. Now they are realising that many price reductions have now been actioned and as a result boats are selling. So now is the time to get in there and buy a boat whilst the good stock exists. It is great for people coming into boating or if you are going to go up market. Bigger boats are more affordable than ever. Unfortunately the younger boating enthusiasts boating interests have largely been stemmed due to lack of equiity in their homes and lenders not being so willing to do business. The Winter has been very busy for boat sales both in Medway and Kent. I have seen good levels of interest in all types of boat. I have agreed some good sales for both sail and motor boats. I think there will be a lot of pent up buying from those who held out last year so see what prices were going to do.
