Broker's Comments

These boat details are subject to contract.

This is an historic Admirals barge - a Pinnace, converted from steam to diesel in the 1950's.
She has been owned for over 20 years, by her currant owner who has taken her out of the water regularly for maintenance. She has just had the hull scraped and her previous lift out was 5 years ago when the hull was stripped, surveyed and then painted.

Her engine sounded good when started up too. She has a Teak on Oak framed hull and Mahogany on Oak framed superstructure. She is quite a tardis and has some lovely lines. She needs a good modernising fettle up inside. She is currently on a residential mooring rented from the marina.

There’s a double cabin, with a toilet cubicle and separate shower cubicle either side of the boat. There is a well proportioned galley.

The wheelhouse is lofty with panoramic widows - ideal for helming and for just relaxing and watching the world go by; the saloon currently houses a washing machine and a freezer, and has built in seating and a removable dining table. This could also be used to create a further double or two single berths. She has a gas boiler for hot water, a diesel air heater and a diesel drip feed heater.

Externally there is good deck space to enjoy your surroundings. This classic motor cruiser has traditional bronze deck fittings. She is registered on the National Historic Ships Register and could be a gorgeous vessel once the interior is fettled.

So if you are looking for something a bit special in terms of history then this could be the boat for you.

Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
