The Birchwood name lends itself to a popular and well known range of boats that have been seen for many years.
This boat probably dates from the 1970's and it represents an opportunity to purchase a popular river and coastal waters cruiser. Some of statistics quoted are for Birchwood 22's generally and will need to be checked when the boat is surveyed.
Having had a good look around this boat I thought it offered simple but spacious accommodation. The boat needs a bit of modernising but most of this is cosmetic in nature and can be undertaken whilst still cruising and enjoying the boat.
It would be ideal for leisurely family cruises or for somebody wanting to get into boating but not wanting to part with vast amounts of money.
The boat has been, anti-fouled and has a good cockpit cover for rainy days.
Have a good look at the photographs and see that there is scope for upgrading and enhancing this boat thus creating something of your own style .
