Broker's Comments
These boat details are subject to contract.
This is one of the best boats in terms of owner maintenance and presentation for sale.
I think the owner's narrative sums up all the positives this vessel has to offer - she "was purchased directly from Holland having been sailing on the Dutch canal fresh water network since being built in 1979. At the time of purchase she was equipped with a DAF 6 cylinder diesel and had been professionally re-painted in early 2010. A new cutlass bearing was fitted and minor faults were remedied following a full survey before road transported back to the UK where she remained on the non-tidal Upper Medway (East Farleigh) from 2012 – 2018 before moving to Upper Thames Bray Marina”.
She has been meticulously looked after by the current owner including new upholstery in 2018 and new carpets and curtains in 2021. A new engine and gearbox were professionally fitted in 2017 and there is now just 260 engine hours from new. Other refinements were: gas oven and hob fitted 2013, Propex warm air heating fitted 2013, shower / WC refurbishment in 2015 and 100 ltr stainless steel holding tank fitted 2021 (Unused to date).
The Engine and gear box has been maintained by the owner from new with a full oil change and replacement oil and fuel filters. The last service being June 2022.
She was lifted into Chatham Marina for a full external refurbishment, anodes and hull treatment during the spring of 2022 and re-launched in June the same year.
Returning to Bray for the summer she remained there cruising the upper Thames until November 2022 where she was lifted and antifouled at a marina on the Medway.
She has just been relaunched and on a good mooring at the current marina. Residential moorings come up from time to time as well.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
