This Moody 28 sailing yacht first went into production in 1985 and continued to be produced well into 1987. This boat was designed by Bill Dixon and manufactured by Moody Yachts known for their solid build quality and steady handling; whilst the design allowed for good sailing performance. The Moody 28 was the more compact version to the succesful Moody 31, although it contained just as many berths as the Moody 31.
The boat was recently antifouled in May 2012 and she looks a lovely example. She has cast iron bilge keels with skeg hung rudder and tiller steering.
The cockpit is good and deep providing a safe haven from the elements.

Broker's Comments

This is a fine example of a Moody 28 sailing boat. Looks sturdy and well appointed as you would expect from a Moody boat, She is well presented, smells nice and the woodwork looks good too. Bright and airey inside with good size berths too. She certainly appears to have been very well maintained to date by her current owner. Dare I say it but she is definitely a wife pleasing boat. Ideal for a couple or family. Have a look at the photographs and the video I have taken of this lovely vessel.
