Turbo-charged Ford 6 cylinder diesels. Spares easy to obtain and are very rugged motors. All filters have been changed recently and they both have been fitted with Speedseal covers on the Jabsco water pumps.

This Princess 38 is a lovely boat, well constructed. She will handle very well and be fun to helm. The helm & fly bridge position has a great view and there is ample seating so the rest of your friends and family can enjoy the ride too.

The aft deck provides another room and a great area to socialise. The interior accommodation is bright, spacious, airey would make an ideal liveaboard too.
There is a double berth forward with an en-suite shower and a twin berth cabin to starboard side. There is u-shape seating in the saloon to starboard & there is a single settee berth to the portside. There is ample storage space and great headroom throughout. The Eberspacher diesel heating system will keep you warm as toast as well.

2 bilge pumps (0 manual / 2 Electric)
Safety on board is of vital importance and to this end there are detectors for smoke, gas, carbon monoxide and low oxygen in the atmosphere. The gas installation was renewed last year and there is an up to date gas certificate. There is also a bubble tested in the gas circuit.
Under the hatch in the cockpit, there is a horse shoe lifebuoy and line.
There are 3 fire extinguishers in date, including one automatic one in the engine compartment.
Also, there are 2 electric bilge pumps.
There are temperature alarms on the exhausts and the Jabsco pumps, plus a bilge water level alarm.

A wonderful example of the Princess 38 that has clearly been loved & looked after in her years, The hull was ice blasted when she was out of the water this winter for 6 months, and she now has epoxy coatings and new Jotun Penguard self polishing anti fouling.
